TGN's Halo 3 Halloween: Los Angeles

A cross hybird between a Halloween Celebration and a Regional Video
Game Tournament, our 2nd annual Halloween event will be the shizz-nit.
Aside from meeting the local competition, swapping gamertags with loads
of players and having some major fun, players can also enter the
costume contest.

Aside from meeting the local competition, swapping gamertags with loads
of players and having some major fun, players can also enter the
costume contest.
Where's a Hotel?
Players can reserve a room through The Oaks Hotel & Conference
Center for the rate of $99/ night. The reservations must be made
through the Hotel and not The Gaming Nation. (Search for more Hotels in
the surrounding area).
Sign-In, Event Schedule and "How does the Event Work?"
Halo 3 Sign in: 9:30am-1030am
Halo 3 FFA Start Time 10:30am.
Players Signing up for the FFA only will be given the chance to
join incomplete teams or create teams in the Team Builder. ALL 4v4
teams will elect one player to play in the FFA for team seeding. 2v2
teams will also receive one free entry into the FFA, although 2v2 team
seeding is random.
Halo 3 2v2 Start Time 12:30-1:00pm:
Game Lengths will vary. Early Elimination Rounds
will have a time limit of 8 minutes per game. Starting with the Quarter
Finals, game length will be increased to 10-15 minutes per round. All
matches will be best 2 of 3 Team Slayer on TGN Maps, unless all players
agree on other "popular settings.
Halo 3 4v4 Start Time 2:30pm-3:30pm:
Game Lengths will vary. Early Elimination Rounds will have a time limit
of 8 minutes per game. Starting with the Quarter Finals, game length
will be increased to 10-15 minutes per round. All matches will be best
2 of 3 Team Slayer on TGN Maps, unless all players agree on other
"popular settings." Players will need to bring a minimum of 1 console & Game per team.
Registration & Entry Fees
Register online or by calling us at 1-800-655-1982. Entry Fees may be
Paid at the Door, or by calling the our toll free number listed above.
Players, or Teams, who elect to pay via phone will be entered into
Pre-Made brackets and obtain 1st play
Entry Fees paid at the Door: $50/ person, or:
- 4v4 Team Entry: $200
- 2v2 Team Entry $100
- FFA Only: $50
- If
a player/team is registering for more than one event, entry into the
2nd event is reduced 50%, making the 2nd event entry fee $25 per
person. Why another entry fee for a 2nd event? Because each event has its own independent prize pool.
- FFA Player Entry fee: (In advance) $40 - (Paid at the Door) $50
- 2v2 Team Entry fee: (In advance) $80 - (Paid at the Door) $100
- 4v4 Team Entry fee: (In advance) $160 - (Paid at the Door) $200

The Glory...
In addition to the $2,000 - $5,000 prize pool, players and teams
will also be competing for "Professional" status and the chance to
represent TGN's "Team Los Angeles." TGN Pro Teams will also be given invitations and possible sponsorships to our 2008-2009 National Championship event. More on TGN Pro Teams.
The Fun...
Gaming attracts players of all ages and all walks of life, from the
streets to the geeks. Live TGN events are an excellent place to forge
new friendships with gamers in your area, rise through the ranks or
just have a blast.
Costume Contest...
There
will also be a costume contest with a 1st place prize of $100-$300.
Players and spectators will have a reduced admission if dressed in a
halloween costume.
