This email is being sent to all TGN D.C. / Baltimore players.
Due
to event size, the upcoming TGN Baltimore/DC Regional Open has been
reset for Saturday, Nov. 15th, 2008. The event location has been moved
to an alternate location listed below. Our new Venue will accommodate
more attendees and prevent us from cutting off registration.
Hilton Washington DC/Rockville
Executive Meeting Center
1750 Rockville Pike, Rockville,
Maryland 20852
With
The
Gaming Nation's D.C./Baltimore just around the corner, Maximum
Attendance has been at: 64 4v4 teams for Halo 3, 16 Call of Duty 4
& GoW2 4v4
teams, There are also numerous 2v2 teams and FFA players registered for
Halo 3. [We are looking at the possibility of adding a Call of Duty
Free-For-All event.]

Whats going on with TGN?
The
Gaming Nation is a player based Console Gaming League
stretching across the nation. Our 2008-2009 National Pro Tour will pit
over 21 different cities against each other as we search for the top
individual teams along with the Nation's #1 Gaming Metro Areas. The
2008-2009 TGN Individual Team Championship Series invitations will be
given to the top 4 teams (or players) from each event. Teams ranked
5th-8th will earn semi-pro status and will be able to compete for
placement on the given City's Pro Team.
Of course not all
players attend in hopes of finding fortune and glory, many come to show
off their gear, meet other gamers, or to just have a great time with
the gaming community. In fact, our live video game events attract
people of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. Meet some of the
coolest, smartest and most unique people in and around the D.C./Baltimore area. [Or, maybe your the coolest and everyone needs to meet you].

Perhaps the best thing about TGN is... Winnable Events.
With the exception of the above referenced 2008-2009 TGN Individual
Team National Championship Series, our events are Regionally
advertised. So, although many players travel long distances, 70%-90% of
the total entrants are within 100 miles of the venue location.
So, if your a:
- Future Pro in Training
- An avid fan of all things gaming
- or you just wanna see what the hype is all about
this event is for you.
