08/24/07: Sony Unveils TV Tuner, Recorder for PS3 & Navigation system for PSP |

In an attemp to boost sales, Sony announced a personal video recorder for PS3 and a satellite navigation accessory and messaging service for PSP.
Sony also announced Go Explore, a satellite navigation device, and Go
Messenger, a voice, video, and chat service, for PSP. Go Explore will
support GPS and retail for a ,100 and ,150 (US$135-$200). Go Messenger
will be made possible via a firmware update supporting VoIP (voice over
Internet Protocol).
The TV recorder, PlayTV will allow users to wirelessly transfer downloaded videos to the PSP, but dont get excited just yet, Sony stated "We have no announcements at this time regarding DVR/PVR capabilities for PS3 in North America." The devices will hit the European Market in 2008!
