Sign-In Schedule
To help reduce wait time, both the Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4 events will have seperate sign in times.
9:00 am - Call of Duty 4
10:30 am - Halo 3
Team Seeding and Game Play FAQ's
- Call of Duty 4 4v4 & Halo 3 2v2 will have random seeds for the 1st 3 rounds. Starting in round 4 of the winners and losers bracket, game scores and win/loss ratio's will be used to seed teams.
- Halo 3 4v4 team seeding will be determined using scores from the 1st Round of the FFA.
- *Although the FFA will not be used for seeding the Halo 3 2v2 event, teams from this category will still receive one free entry into the FFA.
- Call of Duty 4 will be played using system link which has pre-set classes
What you should Bring?
All players need to bring their own controller (wired if possible).
Our last visit to Houston, just over 1 year ago, was an original xbox event. With the release of Halo 3 came a change in our event consoles as well. We currently have 15 XBOX 360 consoles (19 if you count consoles with the Red Ring of Death) and over 50 gameplay TV's. As a result, we ask players bring consoles with the game. There is a zero tolerance policy on touching consoles, TD's must be present when setting controllers.
How many Consoles should you bring?

Due to the lack of split screening abilities, Call of Duty 4v4 teams are required to bring a minimum of 2 consoles per team (although bringing 4, or one for each player is preferred).
- Halo 3 players should try to bring 1 console for every 2 players.
Go Pro - Team Houston!
In addition to Prizes, players will also compete for placement on the TGN's 2008-2009 Houston Pro Team. The Idea of TGN Pro Teams was introduced last year. This year the TGN Houston Pro Roster will be composed of the top 6 teams. TGN Pro Teams will compete against other located around the country as we go in search of the our Nations #1 Gaming City.
Pro Teams will be eligible to attend all invitational events and may receive partial sponsorships to TGN National Events.
Player/ Team Bio's along with video of gameplay will be featured on the TGN Pro Rosters page.
Registration & Entry Fees
Register online or by calling us at 1-800-655-1982. Entry Fees may be Paid at the Door, or by calling the our toll free number listed above. Players, or Teams, who elect to pay via phone will be entered into Pre-Made brackets and obtain 1st play
Entry Fees paid at the Door: $50/ person, or:
- 4v4 Team Entry: $200
- 2v2 Team Entry $100
- FFA Only: $50
- If
a player/team is registering for more than one event, entry into the
2nd event is reduced 50%, making the 2nd event entry fee $25 per
person. Why another entry fee for a 2nd event? Because each event has its own independent prize pool.
- Players/ Teams who attended TGN Houston 2007 will receive a discount of $10 per person.
